Dodge Releases A Barrage Of Smart Phone Apps

Most automakers these days recognize the connection between drivers and their smartphones. That’s why many brands are introducing smart phone apps and other technologies that link consumers’ phones with their vehicles. Following in the footsteps of other brands, Dodge has introduced its own array of free smartphone applications. First available on the iPhone, followed by BlackBerry and Android smartphones, these apps will provide a range of services and data, including a direct connection to Customer Care and 24-hour roadside assistance.

These new apps will also give customers access to Owner’s Manual information directly from their smartphone. If changes are made to the owner’s manual, Dodge has the ability to push-publish updates, making the app version more up-to-date than the printed version.
